Reqio team membership is per project. You can give different people access to different projects without any account-wide sharing.
Roles
There are two roles: Owner and Developer.
Owner
The person who created the project is its Owner. There is one Owner per project. The Owner can do everything, including billing, inviting or removing team members, and deleting the project.
Developer
Developers have full access to the day-to-day work: viewing the backlog, changing request statuses, writing internal notes, managing the widget configuration, deleting requests and comments, and managing the chat inbox. They cannot invite or remove members, manage billing, delete the project, or issue MCP tokens.
What each role can do
| Action | Owner | Developer | |---|---|---| | View backlog and inbox | Yes | Yes | | Change request status | Yes | Yes | | Write internal notes | Yes | Yes | | Manage widget settings | Yes | Yes | | Delete requests and comments | Yes | Yes | | Manage chat conversations | Yes | Yes | | Send announcements | Yes | Yes | | Invite members | Yes | No | | Remove members | Yes | No | | Manage billing | Yes | No | | Delete project | Yes | No | | Issue MCP tokens | Yes | No |
Developer seats
The number of Developer seats depends on your plan:
- Free: no Developer seats (Owner only)
- Pro: up to 3 Developer seats per project
- Business: up to 15 Developer seats per project
Inviting someone
Go to your project's Team tab. Enter the person's email address and click Invite. They will receive an email with a link to accept the invitation.
If they do not already have a Reqio account, they will be prompted to create one when they accept. Invitations expire after 7 days if not accepted.
Removing someone
From the Team tab, find the member and click Remove. They immediately lose access to the project. Their past actions (status changes, notes) are not deleted.
Multiple projects
A Developer added to one project has no access to your other projects. You must invite them separately to each project where you want them to help. This lets you share one project with a contractor without giving them access to everything you run on Reqio.
