Using Reqio

Team access

Invite teammates to a project, understand the four-role ladder, and manage team membership per project.

Reqio team membership is per project. You can give different people access to different projects without any account-wide sharing.

Roles

There are four roles: Owner, Supervisor, Developer, and Support.

Ownerrole

The person who created the project. There is one Owner per project. Can do everything, including billing, inviting or removing teammates, and deleting the project.

Supervisorrole

Full day-to-day access plus team management: invite and remove teammates, and view team analytics. Cannot manage billing, delete the project, or issue MCP tokens.

Developerrole

Full day-to-day access: backlog, statuses, internal notes, widget config, comments, and chat conversations. Cannot invite or remove teammates, view team analytics, manage billing, delete the project, or issue MCP tokens.

Supportrole

Scoped to the backlog and inbox: view requests, change status, delete requests and comments, and manage chat conversations. Cannot write internal notes, manage widget config, or manage teammates.

Teammates per plan

The number of teammates depends on your plan:

  • Free: 1 teammate per project
  • Pro: up to 3 teammates per project
  • Scale: up to 15 teammates per project

One shared pool

All four roles draw from the same teammate cap. A project isn't limited per role: you could invite three Developers, or one Supervisor and two Support teammates, on a Pro project.

  1. Invite someone

Go to your project's Team tab. Enter the person's email address, pick a role, and click Invite. They receive an email with a link to accept.

If they do not already have a Reqio account, they are prompted to create one when they accept. Invitations expire after 7 days if not accepted.

If the project is already at its plan's teammate cap, the Invite button is disabled and the Team tab shows an upgrade prompt instead. Remove an existing teammate or upgrade the plan to free up a spot before inviting someone new.

  2. Change a role

From the Team tab, use the role selector on a teammate's row to change their role. The change takes effect immediately, on their very next action.

  3. Remove someone

From the Team tab, find the teammate and click Remove. They immediately lose access to the project. Their past actions (status changes, notes) are not deleted.

Multiple projects

A teammate added to one project has no access to your other projects. You must invite them separately to each project where you want them to help. This lets you share one project with a contractor without giving them access to everything you run on Reqio.
